Naperville is located approximately 28 miles west of the City of Chicago. Several major highways provide easy and direct access to Naperville, including Interstate 88, Interstate 355, and Interstate 55 which link to Interstates 57, 80, 90, 290 and 294. Within the City limits, several major roadways including Route 59, Ogden Avenue (Route 34), 75th Street, and Naperville Road/Naper Boulevard/Weber Road connect
to surrounding suburbs and beyond.

Airports
O’Hare International Airport is one of the busiest airports in the world. As the larger of the two commercial airports in the Chicagoland area, O’Hare International Airport offers thousands of daily flights to destinations all over the world. O’Hare International Airport is a major hub of two of the largest airlines in the country, United Airlines and American Airlines.
Midway International Airport is the second of the two Chicagoland area commercial airports. Southwest Airlines is the primary airline serving Midway. In 2010, O'Hare International Airport and Midway International Airport combined to serve 148 domestic cities and 54 international cities.
There are also two main airports within close proximity of Naperville that offer charter and executive flights, DuPage Airport and Aurora Municipal Airport.

Naperville is connected to Chicago via the Metra train line. Metra’s BNSF Railway provides multiple trains to and from Chicago every day. Naperville’s two train stations (Downtown Naperville and Route 59) provide convenience to Naperville’s residents and commuters who seek an alternate transportation method to and from Chicago. Reverse Commuter Parking permits are available for people who commute to Naperville from Chicago. Reverse commuter parking permits are valid on weekdays from 3 p.m. to 8 a.m at both Metra stations serving Naperville.
